Edmodo

It is a social networking tool for schools.  It allows teachers to set up free accounts for each class they are teaching and only the teacher and the students could post on this website. It also enables teachers to create this cultural and comfortable environment for students.
I can use Edmodo to:
1-      Post reminders, announcements and upcoming events.
2-      Post assignments’ and projects’ due dates to remind students.
3-      Upload interesting articles for my students to read.
4-      Keep students engaged in the learning process.
5-      Post class notes. It would be beneficial for students who were absent.
6-      Facilitate connection between students and teachers, especially in large classes.
Share videos, pictures, and websites with students.
